AIWP ("we", "our", "us") operates the AIWP WordPress plugin and the getaiwp.com website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our products and services.

2.1 Plugin Usage (Free Tier)

When you use the free AI Assistant feature, our proxy server processes:

• IP address — used solely for rate limiting (100 requests/day). Stored as a daily counter in Cloudflare KV with automatic 24-hour expiration. We do not store raw IP addresses persistently.
• Chat messages — sent to our proxy server and forwarded to AI providers (Google Gemini). Messages are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers.
• WordPress context — basic site information (theme name, active plugins, PHP version) sent with each request to provide context-aware AI responses. Not stored.

2.2 Plugin Usage (Paid Tier)

If you purchase a subscription, we additionally collect:

• Email address — for account management and support.
• License key — to authenticate requests and track credit usage.
• Usage logs — type of operation and credits consumed. We do not log the content of your requests.

2.3 Website

The getaiwp.com website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not use cookies or analytics trackers. Cloudflare may collect basic access logs as part of their infrastructure — see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate AIWP:

• Google Gemini API — processes AI chat requests. Subject to Google's API Terms.
• Cloudflare Workers — hosts our proxy server. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• LemonSqueezy — processes payments for paid plans. Subject to LemonSqueezy's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

• Rate limit counters: automatically deleted after 24 hours.
• Chat messages: not stored — processed in real-time only.
• Account data (paid users): retained while your subscription is active and for 30 days after cancellation.
• Usage logs (paid users): retained for 90 days for billing purposes.

5. Data Security

All communication between the plugin and our proxy server is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. API keys are stored as encrypted secrets in Cloudflare Workers and never exposed to end users.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Use the free tier without providing any personal information beyond your IP address (for rate limiting).
